About the role
Performs designated routine patient mobilization tasks under the supervision of the delegating nurse or therapist.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates daily unit specific patient mobilization activities
- Documents in EMR
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic, or a military Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic Specialist, or Aerospace Medical Service Specialist
- National licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification: Provide certification of successful completion of an SMH approved program, and successfully obtain a Florida CNA license within 120 days of graduation
