About the role

Studentnest is hiring tutors in Math for the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) in Anaheim, CA 92801.

Responsibilities

• Tutor 8th-12th grade students in Math
• Work 12:30PM-3:00PM, Tuesday/Thursday

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 60 units of college credits with 1 year of tutoring experience in Math
• Proficiency in high level math
• Ability to complete fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements met
• 3 professional references available
• Minimum of 60 units of college credits
• At least one year of student-related experience
• Detail-oriented and highly dependable
• Effective communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Negative tuberculosis test within 6 months of being hired
• Loves learning, teaching, and empowering others

Pay

$22 per hour standard, $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request), $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor

Schedule

12:30PM-3:00PM, Tuesday/Thursday
