About the role
Studentnest is hiring for a tutoring position in the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) in Placentia, CA 92870.
Responsibilities
- Tutor 8th-12th grade students in Math
- Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Requirements
- Minimum of 60 units of college credits
- At least 1 year of tutoring experience in Math
- Proficiency in high level math
- Ability to complete fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
- DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements met
- 3 professional references available
- Minimum of 60 units of college credits
- One year of student-related experience
- Detail-oriented and highly dependable
- Effective communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Negative tuberculosis test within 6 months of being hired
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish or another preferred language (based on site request)
- Credential or certification as a teacher or tutor
Skills

Pay
Pay rate: $22 per hour standard, $23 per hour if bilingual, $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor
Schedule
Summer Position: Starts June 26th, Schedule: 9:00AM-2:00PM, Monday-Friday
