Studentnest is hiring for a tutoring position in Orange County, California, specifically for the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) in Tustin, CA 92780.

Responsibilities

• Tutoring 8th-12th grade students in Math
• Work schedule: 8:30AM-12:30PM, Tuesday/Thursday

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 60 units of college credits with 1 year of tutoring experience in Math
• Proficiency in high-level math (Pre-Algebra, Geometry/Algebra 2)
• Can complete fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• Able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements
• Provide 3 professional references
• Have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• Have at least one year of student-related experience
• Detail-oriented and highly dependable
• Effective communicator
• Have reliable transportation
• Provide a negative tuberculosis test within 6 months of being hired
• Love learning, teaching, and empowering others

Pay

• $22 per hour standard
• $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor
