Superior Sales & Service is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Materials & Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing operations, inventory accuracy, and ERP data management within our manufacturing environment. This role works directly with production personnel, inventory, management, and suppliers on a daily basis to ensure purchasing records, ERP data, spreadsheets, and documentation remain accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Purchase production materials and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Support inventory cycle counts and monitor inventory levels
- Ensure ERP data (NetSuite/Oracle) and purchasing records are accurate
- Collaborate with production, engineering, accounting, and management teams
- Manage supplier relationships and uphold purchasing best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or a related manufacturing support role
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or Oracle ERP systems
- Experience maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work on-site in Plattsmouth, Nebraska (remote/hybrid not available)
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing purchasing experience
- Inventory cycle count experience
- Experience monitoring inventory levels and supporting production material requirements
- Cross-functional experience with production, engineering, accounting, and management teams
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management and purchasing best practices
