Material Program Manager - Hybrid

About the role

The Material Program Manager (MPM) supports a special program within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit at Raytheon. This role involves managing materials management including cost/schedule/quality, and supplier performance. The MPM reports directly to Program MPM Leads and is accountable to the Program Management Office. Key responsibilities include executing supply chain strategies, managing material budgets, and driving purchase requisitions and orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution.
• Ownership of Material Forecast and identification of risks and opportunities.
• Manage material budgets and support EACs.
• Drive Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement/management.
• Participate in supplier engagements and review to ensure supplier performance.
• Monitor performance metrics and act to address program and functional issues.
• Implement key performance indicators internally and with our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and adherence to the plan.

Requirements

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supply chain role.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.

Qualifications

• Experience working with suppliers.
• Experience supporting developmental engineering programs.
• Project management experience.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 - $165,200 annually.

Schedule

This role is a hybrid position, allowing employees to work both onsite and offsite. The ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
