Material Handler/ Cherry Picker Operator - Allentown, PA

About the role

The Wasserstrom Company is the leading Food Service Distributor in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. We currently have a Material Handler position available in our Bethlehem Distribution Center in Bethlehem, PA.

Responsibilities

• Loading and/or unloading product shipments from trucks to shipping/receiving platform
• Picking, put-away, and counting product from/to racking in case or pallet quantities
• Utilizing RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item, quantity, and location to pick and/or receive
• Operating multiple pieces of motorized equipment in a safe and proper manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• 1–2 years previous forklift experience preferred but not required

Schedule

First shift: 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with Saturdays required when needed.
