Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards, including consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate regularly with the Shift Supervisor regarding production, packing, and shipping priorities, as well as any issues or delays.
- Unload inbound shipments and accurately store materials in designated locations.
- Stage and deliver raw materials to support production requirements in a timely manner.
- Retrieve finished goods, properly secure (e.g., shrink-wrap) pallets, and prepare items for shipment.
- Load outbound shipments in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Accurately label, tag, and verify quantities of materials during shipping and receiving activities.
- Complete required shipping and receiving documentation and participate in inventory control processes, including cycle counts.
- Ensure all equipment is returned to designated storage areas after use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all assigned work areas in alignment with 5S or internal standards.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational needs.
Qualifications
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations; maintain required certifications and licenses for operating motorized equipment.
- Safely operate production equipment as assigned.
- Demonstrate effective verbal communication skills.
- Interact professionally and respectfully with co-workers, supervisors, and other personnel.
- Read and comprehend written materials, including manuals and work instructions.
- Follow directions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines consistently.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on tasks.
- Possess adequate peripheral vision, depth perception, color differentiation, and overall visual acuity to safely perform job duties.
- Work effectively in confined or awkward spaces as required.
- Utilize computers or tablets for basic job functions (e.g., data entry, documentation).
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, including the safe operation of motorized equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- One to two years of experience with data entry, with a strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Work Authorization
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
