Material Handler - 2nd Shift

About the role

Sandridge is searching for Material Handlers to help ensure our high-quality food products reach customers nationwide. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has outstanding forklift and reach truck experience, and operates all types of Power Industrial Trucks safely. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up/sit-down tow motors, man pickers, and rider walkies safely.
• Work efficiently in a cold storage environment, maintaining productivity in temperatures of 30-35°F.
• Read and verify labels to ensure they match inventory records accurately.
• Follow company policies and safety regulations at all times.
• Verify labels and inventory for precise order fulfillment.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

• Experience in operating stand-up/sit-down tow motors, man pickers, and rider walkies safely.
• Proven track record of reading and verifying labels to ensure they match inventory records accurately.
• Strong understanding of company policies and safety regulations, with a commitment to following them at all times.
• Detail-oriented approach to verifying labels and inventory for precise order fulfillment.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
