Responsibilities

  • Receive supplier shipments
  • Pick customer orders
  • Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment
  • Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
  • Operate a handheld scanner
  • Obtain power equipment certifications (electric power jack, walker/rider, forklift)
  • Meet and exceed quality and production standards
  • Take direction from management
  • Adhere to distribution center housekeeping guidelines
  • Prioritize safety by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other platforms
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime
  • Strong comprehension and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Power equipment certification a plus
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to meet physical assessment requirements for this position
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally, and 75 lbs rarely
  • Ability to complete the physical assessment at the Material Handler II level
