Material Handler - 2nd Shift

About the role

NETZSCH Pumps USA is seeking a Material Handler for their Exton, PA facility on the 1st shift (Monday - Friday). This position involves receiving, storing, issuing, and packing materials and supplies in a global manufacturing environment specializing in complex fluid management.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh, or measure incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Examine incoming shipments for damage or shortages and correspond with shippers to rectify issues.
• Complete required paperwork or forms for documentation.
• Receive and issue vendor material, and process deliveries, return deliveries, and purchase orders electronically into SAP.
• Route material to inspection, stores, or work-in-process destinations.
• Cut raw material steel per cut sheet router.
• Pull and verify parts via kit list for production departments and spare parts orders.
• Return and verify parts given back to stores from production orders or customer returns.
• Issue materials from stores via stock requisitions.
• Assist in perpetual inventory of all stores areas.
• Skid, box, wrap, and pack materials to prevent transit damage.
• Enter relevant shipping data on UPS/FedEx terminals.
• Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 months of experience in a similar field.
• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to log on/off a computer, enter data into an ERP system and Excel spreadsheets, and send/receive emails.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.
