Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Duties And Responsibilities

• Puts away materials in correct inventory locations, verifies and identifies products and quantities, and accurately updates system as needed
• Performs and completes all assigned tasks in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner, reports any issues related to quality, delivery, cost, safety, moral or environment
• Prioritizes, pulls and stages, routes, or delivers materials needed by internal customers, verifies and identifies products, quantities and destinations
• Moves materials (raw material, work in process, finished goods or kits) between defined locations as needed
• Fulfills material handling, work instructions, ISO procedures, material specifications, and job safety analysis
• Ensures inventory inaccuracy, performs inventory counts
• Investigates inventory issues and performs root cause analysis
• Operates forklifts and/or other powered equipment
• Uses scanner and/or computer system
• Actively participates in continuous improvement, 5S and workplace organization activities
• Provides short-term support as needed across the organization
• Completes other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required (training provided)
• Computer skills: Updating ERP system with locations, checking inventory levels, reading prints, and printing stock labels
• Takes ownership and prides themselves in delivering a high-quality product
• Able to maintain a reliable and consistent attendance record
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• High school diploma/GED preferred
