Help Drive Manufacturing Excellence
Milwaukee Electronics is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to lead production scheduling and planning for our high-mix, low-volume electronics manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.
- Execute and manage MRP planning to generate production work orders and purchasing requirements.
- Analyze production capacity and recommend schedule adjustments to maximize throughput and on-time delivery.
- Partner with Purchasing to proactively manage material availability and resolve shortages.
- Communicate production schedules, priorities, and delivery commitments across Operations and Customer Service.
- Maintain ERP planning parameters, including lead times, run rates, and capacity data.
- Career Development: Coordinate production schedules for new product introductions (NPI).
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities through scheduling analysis and reporting.
- Identify scheduling risks, develop contingency plans, and drive corrective actions when production goals are missed.
- Monitor work-in-process (WIP) levels and support inventory optimization initiatives.
- Continuously improve scheduling processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production scheduling or master scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience using ERP/MRP systems (Epicor experience is a plus).
- Solid understanding of: Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity planning, Manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- APICS CPIM certification.
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or electronics manufacturing.
