Master Scheduler

About the role

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the master production schedule to ensure efficient utilization of resources, on-time delivery, and alignment with customer demand. This role works cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Sales to balance demand and supply while minimizing cost and maximizing service levels.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing the master production schedule
• Maintaining an effective and achievable plan integrating firm orders and SIOP plans
• Communicating across the organization to ensure alignment
• Managing the scheduling of production for each shop area as required
• Ensuring efficient utilization of resources and on-time delivery
• Aligning with customer demand and balancing demand and supply
• Minimizing cost and maximizing service levels

Requirements

With oversight of the master scheduling, capacity planning, and schedule execution, the successful candidate will effectively manage the scheduling of production for each shop area as required.
