About the role

JRI's Total Achievement Program (TAP) is a therapeutic after-school and summer program for youth ages 6 to 12 years old, located in Norton, MA. You will work alongside a small team to provide care for 10 to 12 clients at any one time. TAP staff closely collaborate with the youths’ families, schools, and community agency providers to support each client's success as a vital component of a comprehensive treatment team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care for youth while in our afterschool program
  • Coordinate and support related to clinical care and needs outside of each site
  • Support youth in developing the social and adaptive skills they need to be their best selves within the structure of our program, their home, and communities
  • Model and lead staff in provision of evidenced-based clinical practice
  • Use creative and fun modalities to meet the individual needs of our youth
  • Help design weekly curriculum for our group therapy sessions

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited college or university required
  • Knowledgeable in growth and development
  • Ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the needs of youths served and their families
  • Ability to learn the needs of the youth under our care and their families; a willingness to offer a variety of interventions and treatments required by this population
  • Prior experience working with latency age children or experience in behavior modification are preferred
  • Available to work afternoons into evenings, which provides flexibility in the mornings and weekends for you
  • Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting youth is required

Sign-on Bonus

We are offering a $2,000 sign on bonus paid out in full after 90 days of employment.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications.
