Minimum Requirements
- Must hold a valid Maryland State Massage Therapist license
- Five years of working experience in the massage therapy profession
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Follow written or oral directions
- Work cooperatively
- Work independently
- Must have the strength to lift 45 lbs.
- Able to move massage equipment
Teaching Experience Preferred
Class Specific Essential Duties
- Provide didactic and clinical instruction in Massage Therapy, including classroom, laboratory, and clinical supervision assignments
- Maintain Maryland Massage Therapy License/Certification
- Work collaboratively to achieve departmental, divisional or institutional initiatives
- Maintain scheduled availability to students
- Carry out and supervise simulated and community outreach experiences
- Monitor student progress in labs and clinical rotations
- Follow established rules of the college and the accrediting body
