About the role

This role involves supervising and mentoring students in the new Massage Therapy Skills Lab, where learners practice techniques such as massage, palpation, draping, and other foundational skills taught in the program.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor students in the new Massage Therapy Skills Lab
  • Ensure students adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Provide feedback and guidance on technique and patient care
  • Collaborate with instructors to develop and refine teaching materials
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the lab

Requirements

  • Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
  • Experience in clinical settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for Saturday sessions)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Massage Therapy or related field
  • Current LMT license
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience

  • Proficiency in massage techniques
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Pay

The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 annually.

Schedule

Sessions are scheduled during the day, evening, and on Saturdays at the Palatine Campus.
