Responsibilities
- Teach a full range of lecture and lab credit courses in massage therapy basic sciences.
- Develop and deliver instructional materials, including syllabi, assignments, and handouts.
- Evaluate and grade students’ work, assignments, and exams.
- Maintain accurate student attendance and grade records.
- Provide guidance and coaching to students.
- Attend periodic meetings with supervisors, division staff, or college representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or a health-related field with at least 8 semester (or 12 quarter) hours of Human Anatomy and Physiology courses with lab.
- Vocational & Continuing Education: Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist.
- Must hold a valid Ohio Massage Therapy License (or obtain one via the MBLEx exam if licensed out-of-state).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and responsiveness to community and student needs.
Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Benefits
- Compensation set rate: $942.00 per Equated Semester Unit (ESU).
Pay
- Set rate: $942.00 per Equated Semester Unit (ESU).
Schedule
- Work schedule determined by business unit needs; classes may be offered during the day, evening, and/or weekends.
Additional Information
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
- Employees must reside in Ohio and be within commuting distance of the Metropolitan Campus throughout their employment.
