About the Role

The Marketing Project Manager works with and reports to the Senior Project Manager, helping to manage projects for Ken Garff dealerships and departments while supporting the Agency Services team. This includes workflow, project and time tracking, and material production. The role collaborates closely with Digital Services, Creative Services, Media, and Regional Marketing Manager teams, as well as preferred agencies and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Project and account management at the direction of the Senior Project Manager and marketing leadership, overseeing key projects across disciplines and departments (e.g., new site builds, conference materials, operational training, digital assets, and printed materials) for internal departments, dealerships, and non-dealership Ken Garff entities, with a focus on fleet, parts, upfitting, and aftermarket automotive equipment brands.
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Project Manager and key stakeholders on timelines, budgets, and project statuses, coordinating deadlines and deliverables.
  • Assist in executing Ken Garff dealership marketing activities, including:
    • Owning and managing assigned projects from start to finish.
    • Managing relationships with defined Ken Garff departments and entities.
    • Understanding the broader Agency Services department and sharing responsibilities as needed.
    • Aligning project goals with Ken Garff’s marketing and business objectives.
    • Estimating project time and budgets and presenting them to stakeholders.
    • Using data and research to optimize current marketing strategies.
    • Developing methods to identify and reach target audiences effectively.
    • Acting as a marketing consultant to assigned entities, guiding them toward optimal decisions.
    • Building and managing ongoing marketing and advertising plan budgets for assigned entities.
    • Assessing third-party marketing vendor performance and managing those relationships.
    • Overseeing the quality and final delivery of all marketing assets and activities.
  • Gather and assemble dealership marketing performance data for analysis.
  • Track and report on market, manufacturer, and competitor trends.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze key marketing performance metrics related to ROI and ROAS.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders for relevant projects.
  • Recommend optimizations for marketing plans to maximize efficiency and business results.
  • Perform other marketing tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a marketing or communications position.
  • Project management work experience.
  • College degree.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Teamwork-driven mentality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Agency experience.
