About the role
The Marketing Operations Coordinator will be the execution engine behind SamCart's marketing team. They will own daily email sends, build products and upsells that drive revenue, run monthly promotions, and keep evergreen funnels humming. This role requires a workhorse who is detail-oriented, allergic to loose ends, and energized by shipping clean work fast.
Responsibilities
- Daily Email:
- Draft daily emails (including newsletters and nurtures) using AI tools, then build, QA, and schedule them in HubSpot and TinyEmail.
- Carefully review and edit every AI-drafted email before it goes out.
- SamCart Product Management:
- Build products, upsells, and order bumps directly inside SamCart.
- QA everything before it goes live: pricing, links, flow, and the checkout experience.
- Own SamCart’s internal marketplace that we use to sell the tools.
- Monthly Promos:
- Project-manage our monthly promotional campaigns from kickoff to wrap across all their moving pieces: pages, emails, ads, the overall plan, and the results tracker.
- Keep every task, deadline, and stakeholder on track, and chase down approvals and loose ends so they don't pile up on the team.
- Build the post-promo debrief page capturing results and learnings and ensure they are applied in future campaigns and promos.
- Evergreen Optimization:
- Track performance of our evergreen funnels, upsells, and email regularly.
- Flag underperformers and work with the team to update copy, upsells, and pages to improve them.
- Maintain clean, current results trackers and reporting so we always know what's working.
- Across Everything:
- Build and QA landing pages, checkout pages, and email flows.
- Use Claude and OpenClaw daily to write copy, speed up production, and handle a wide range of tasks.
- Catch the small stuff before it ships: broken links, wrong prices, off-brand copy, timing conflicts.
- Keep all work visibly organized and tracked in Notion, so all projects and results are transparent and tasks are easy to manage by other team members.
- Jump on whatever the team needs, because in a fast-moving marketing org, priorities shift weekly.
Requirements
- Early in your career but sharp, with 1–3 years in a marketing, coordination, or operations role.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented. You catch the wrong price, the broken link, and the typo the AI left behind.
- A capable marketer, ideally with real email experience across copy, sequences, deliverability, and testing.
- Genuinely comfortable working with AI tools like Claude and OpenClaw, and just as comfortable catching and fixing their mistakes.
- Bonus if you've worked in OpenClaw.
- Familiar with HubSpot and TinyEmail, or a fast study on new email platforms.
- Highly organized, not just for yourself but for the team. You live in checklists, calendars, and trackers, and you keep work visible and accessible in a PM tool like Notion so others can follow and build off it.
- Experience with Notion or a similar PM/documentation tool.
- A genuine workhorse who takes full ownership and closes things out without being chased.
- Energized by variety and comfortable with ambiguity, since no two weeks look the same.
Preferred
- Experience with e-commerce, digital products, or the creator economy.
- Copywriting samples, especially email.
- Experience with Framer.
- Familiarity with landing page or funnel building.
- Exposure to conversion metrics, A/B testing, or campaign reporting.
