About the role

The Marketing Manager – Events & Programming leads the planning, development, and execution of a comprehensive events strategy that drives traffic, enhances the guest experience, strengthens community engagement, and supports overall brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage an annual events calendar that supports traffic, tenant engagement, brand awareness, and guest experience objectives.
  • Plan and execute signature events, seasonal activations, community programs, retailer partnerships, entertainment, and experiential marketing initiatives.
  • Create event plans outlining objectives, audiences, budgets, timelines, staffing, production requirements, and success metrics.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, production partners, entertainment providers, and event suppliers.
  • Coordinate event setup, breakdown, vendor logistics, crowd flow, security, and operational support.
  • Partner with tenants and retailers on promotional events, product launches, grand openings, and seasonal activations.
  • Lead planning meetings, communicate timelines, track action items, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
  • Support guest registration, RSVP management, VIP experiences, and attendee communications.
  • Measure event performance through attendance, engagement, tenant participation, sponsorship results, budget adherence, and overall impact.
  • Maintain organized vendor records, contracts, invoices, certificates of insurance, and event files.
  • Prepare post-event reports including key results, insights, challenges, photos, and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, retail programming, or large-scale guest-facing events.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the full event lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, production, vendor management, execution, and reporting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, invoices, permits, and certificates of insurance.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required by the event calendar.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and making decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with event management or project management platforms is a plus.
