Responsibilities

  • Strategy, Planning & Marketing Execution:

    • Campaign Deployment: Execute approved asset-level marketing strategies, campaigns, and lifestyle initiatives in perfect alignment with corporate goals.
    • Fiscal Support: Direct the field execution of the property's annual plan and approved operating budget.
    • Calendar Management: Oversee and maintain local property calendars to ensure complete synchronization with campaign timing and overall on-site readiness.
    • Omnichannel Coordination: Coordinate the on-site execution of creative, digital, and traditional marketing channels in close partnership with Central Marketing and specialized external vendors.

  • Experiential Events & Place Activation:

    • Production Excellence: Plan, manage, and flawlessly execute community events, seasonal programming, destination activations, and merchant grand openings.
    • Logistics & Compliance: Supervise third-party vendors, manage operational timelines, secure required municipal permits, and lead on-site logistics to ensure polished execution.
    • Performance Partnerships: Partner side-by-side with tenants and property management team members to deliver meaningful, experiential moments that drive customer traffic and merchant sales.

  • Flexible Coverage:

    • Provide dedicated "boots on the ground" support across retail, mixed-use, and destination programming, including required evenings and weekends.

  • Customer, Tenant & Community Engagement:

    • Journey Enhancement: Deliver high-quality, customer-facing experiences, activations, and local communications that reinforce destination positioning.
    • Hospitality Presence: Serve as a highly visible on-site presence during key traffic moments, acting as a direct conduit for hospitality, community, and placement standards.
    • Feedback Collection: Gather, analyze, and share real-time customer feedback and operational insights to inform continuous experience enhancements.
    • Merchant Enablement: Serve as the primary on-site partner to tenants, fostering relationships with retailers, community partners, and local organizations to enable merchant participation in approved destination moments.

  • Brand Standards, Social Media & Content Execution:

    • Integrity Guardrails: Ensure 100% of on-site experiences, events, temporary signage, and printed collateral comply strictly with approved corporate brand and place standards.
    • Risk Escalation: Identify and flag operational risks, brand deviations, or unique local sensitivities, escalating them immediately to leadership for strategic guidance.
    • Content Ideation: Collaborate with and approve our third-party agency’s local content calendars by capturing and publishing authentic, on-site content reflecting live events, tenant highlights, and day-to-day property experiences.
    • Insight Sharing: Ensure all local social media outputs reinforce place positioning while sharing digital insights and content learnings to optimize ongoing planning.

  • Operational, Budgetary & PR Management:

    • Fiscal Administration: Create and manage the asset-level budget in close consultation with Property Marketing, meticulously tracking event-related expenses and driving budget forecasting.
    • Invoice Processing: Manage the systematic routing and processing of approved vendor invoices related to all property experiences.
    • Public Relations Support: Partner with the property-level PR agency and Corporate Communications teams to deliver approved press releases, maintain corporate messaging consistency, and execute on-site media moments.
    • Silo Integration: Act as a critical two-way conduit between on-site teams and Central Marketing, feeding ground-level qualitative insights, successes, and recommendations upward to optimize corporate strategies.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:

    • Background: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a highly related field from an accredited institution.
    • Professional Track Record: Four (4) or more years of progressive, hands-on experience in event planning and execution, ideally demonstrating clear exposure to retail marketing, commercial real estate, or place activation.

  • Technical Savvy:

    • High proficiency with Microsoft Office products and all forms of digital communication/social media platforms.
    • Working experience with creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or InDesign is considered a significant plus.

  • Financial Comfort:

    • Practical proficiency with budget creation, financial tracking, and ledger forecasting.

  • Core Professional Skills:

    • Self-Directed Execution: A proven self-starter with a high-energy, versatile professional style, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
    • Administrative Mastery: Above-average ability to organize workflows, manage time, intuitively set priorities, and multi-task while fiercely maintaining aggressive deadlines.
    • Communication & People Skills: Strong interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills; natural ability to deal effectively and professionally with people at all levels—from corporate executives to third-party vendors and everyday property guests.
    • Detail Focus: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring all brand execution meets first-class standards.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • On-Site Presence: This is a 100% on-site position based in the property management office, requiring an active, mobile field presence.

  • Physical Mechanics: Ability to stand and walk up to several hours per day across the property layout, navigate stairs, and lift or move setup infrastructure weighing up to 25 lbs.

  • Schedule Flexibility: Absolute willingness and capacity to work non-traditional hours, including occasional nights, weekends, and select holidays to supervise live event executions.
