Marketing Manager
About the Role
The Marketing Manager will provide strategic marketing consultation and guidance to the performing laboratories for Mayo Clinic Laboratories. This role is responsible for day-to-day operations to build, execute, measure, and monitor marketing strategies, tactics, and plans to support Mayo Clinic's mission, strategic plan, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner across teams to manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and campaign activities in support of business objectives.
- Facilitate market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
- Evaluate and analyze customer research, market conditions, and competitor information.
- Identify and understand target audience needs, advocating for products and services aligned with the organization's mission.
- Develop and measure marketing strategies based on target audiences, market research, and business plans.
- Manage complex, cross-functional projects through the entire project life cycle.
- Develop and implement marketing plans for new and existing products, including digital marketing platforms.
- Monitor and report on marketing plan progress, including ROI and KPIs.
- Manage marketing budgets and create marketing presentations.
- Coordinate with external agencies and manage vendor relationships.
- Monitor industry best practices and recommend improvements.
- Mentor and manage direct reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 5 years of marketing experience.
- Experience in developing and managing marketing strategies and budgets.
- Project management experience in implementing tactical marketing programs.
- Comprehensive digital marketing skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- M.B.A. or equivalent Master’s degree.
- Experience with growth marketing and driving adoption, engagement, or retention.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial approach with a high tolerance for ambiguity.

Additional Details
Location: Hybrid position within 100 miles of Rochester, MN (quarterly on-site expectations).
Schedule: Full-time, M-F daytime hours.
Compensation: $121,846.40 - $176,696.00 / year (education, experience, and tenure considered).
