About the role
We're hiring a Marketing Lead to own the strategic narrative, editorial voice, assets, and social presence of Sumble. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Define what Sumble sounds like, set editorial standards, and build the voice guide, tone do's and don'ts, and stylistic conventions that scale across every channel and contributor.
- Develop and own Sumble's strategic narrative, translating it into essays, decks, talks, and ads, and run the narrative loop with sales.
- Own Sumble's organic social presence on LinkedIn, set the editorial calendar, write posts, and engage with thought leaders.
- Create long-form and short-form content that earns attention, write hook-based content, and run the editorial calendar across all formats.
- Own video and multimedia content, brief, shape, and direct short-form video, explainer pieces, and motion and visual assets.
- Build sales enablement assets and own funnel content that makes our demand gen motion work.
- Use Sumble's platform signals to produce data-driven content and mine raw signal for narrative.
- Own how Sumble gets found in AI answer engines and build practices and partnerships to compound this advantage.
- Track what works and what doesn't, by piece and by channel, and adjust accordingly.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B content experience, ideally in GTM tech, with a range across long-form and short-form content.
- A sales-oriented mindset and data-curious nature.
- A Super IC operating style and demonstrated AI fluency in real production workflows.
- Comfortable orchestrating consultants and agencies and ghost-writing chops.
