Job Summary
Chartwells Higher Education is hiring a Marketing Coordinator at the beautiful campus of TEXAS WOMEN'S UNIVERSITY in Denton, TX. The role involves assisting the food service operation with marketing promotions, merchandising, social media, and student engagement programs to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities
- Sales growth tactics, including voluntary meal plans, retail, and catering
- Planning, organizing, and hosting of promotions and events, including national brand and vendor promotions
- Acts as a brand representative to guests, promoting various products and services
- Aids in the execution of guest feedback and market research programs
- Ensures quality and timely web content and implements social media strategies to drive followers and engagement
- Develops client and external communications assets, including reports, presentations, and news
- Supports operations with evening or weekend shifts as needed in the business
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, or business, or equivalent of two years of related on the job experience
- Strong organizational, time management, and both verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present to large groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience with social media tactics to increase brand awareness
- Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite a plus
