About the role
The Marketing Coordinator will join Avison Young's Virginia brokerage team, a high-paced environment dedicated to creating real economic, social, and environmental value through commercial real estate services.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation of property marketing strategies and advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with brokers and corporate PR to promote the team and deals in press and social media.
- Create, schedule, and execute digital marketing strategies such as property eblasts.
- Support brokers and other Avison Young teams in preparing presentations, market research, RFP responses, reports, and other client deliverables.
- Design proposals, presentations, and marketing materials, including e-blasts, flyers, floor plans, maps, postcards, boards, and signage using Avison Young branded templates.
- Maintain brand consistency in line with global corporate standards.
- Track ongoing marketing initiatives and prepare marketing budgets and related expenses.
- Coordinate on-site events for clients and the brokerage community and execute marketing campaigns, create invitations, and manage RSVP lists.
- Update web listings and other web-based property and team marketing materials.
- Manage contacts and internal CRM systems as needed.
- Contribute to special projects and reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (inDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Excellent communication, writing, grammar, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, knowledge of financial terms and principles (plus)
- Prior commercial real estate experience preferred

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
