WRNS Studio is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator in San Francisco, Seattle or Honolulu to join our team and support business development, pursuits, brand, communications, and marketing operations across the firm. This role supports our four studios in San Francisco, New York, Honolulu, and Seattle. We are looking for a highly organized self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative environment to create compelling brand materials, coordinate complex proposal efforts across teams, and help improve how WRNS wins new projects and tells our story. The ideal candidate should have a passion for design and telling great stories along with strong project management skills and an aptitude for working with diverse stakeholders. Our team is actively building new tools and workflows to improve how we pursue new work, leveraging Airtable, OpenAsset, and emerging AI-enabled processes that support pursuit strategy, project storytelling, and asset management. This is an exciting growth opportunity, where you’ll have the chance to work with department leadership to help shape these new systems, refine them over time, and measure their success. ResponsibilitiesThis role will support WRNS’s five marketing pillars: Business DevelopmentSupport client-facing business development efforts through presentations, opportunity research, and strategic materialsAssist with pipeline tracking and market intelligence PursuitsProduce proposals, qualifications packages, shortlist materials, and interview presentations to help WRNS win new projectsEnsure deadlines are communicated across teams and met on timeManage consultant inputs, internal reviews, and pursuit workflowsHelp maintain consistency, quality, and strong visual communication across submissions BrandMaintain project tearsheets, resumes, and firm collateralSupport graphic consistency and visual storytelling aligned with the WRNS brand CommunicationsSupport award and conference submissionsHelp develop thought leadership content, social media postings, and project storytellingHelp shape project narratives for internal and external audiences Marketing OperationsHelp maintain and improve marketing systems including Airtable, OpenAsset, and internal project databasesSupport project data hygiene, asset organization, and content managementHelp document and improve workflows across the marketing teamContribute to exploration of emerging tools and AI-enabled processes Qualifications1-5 years of marketing or communications experience in architecture, engineering, construction, interior design, or a professional services firmExperience producing proposals, qualifications packages, interview materials, and marketing collateralExcellent writing, editing, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in Adobe InDesign is requiredProficiency in Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPointWorking knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator preferredStrong graphic sensibility with careful attention to layout, formatting, and visual communicationExperience with project databases, CRM platforms, digital asset management tools, or marketing systems is a plusInterest in process improvement, systems thinking, and evolving technologyStrong graphic sensibility and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a collaborative environmentBachelor’s degree requiredWe encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every requirement listed above — we're committed to building a diverse team and believe that a range of experiences and perspectives makes us stronger.
