Market Director
About the role
In this senior commercial role, you’ll collaborate with sales executives, service delivery leaders, and subject matter experts to design innovative commercial solutions, strengthen client and business partner relationships, and position CSC as a trusted advisor in the corporate legal, funds and fiduciary services space. With 7–12 years of experience in sales, business development, and client solutions, you will be a key commercial driver of revenue growth, client satisfaction, and market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial strategy and grow revenue across CSC’s corporate, legal, funds and SPV services in the US and broader Americas region, guiding on US market entry as well as US outbound deals into the EMEA and APAC region.
- Identify and win new business mandates targeting existing and new client/prospect accounts across all business lines.
- Develop and maintain strong, client-centric relationships with corporate clients, fund/asset managers, law firms, intermediaries, and referral partners.
- Leverage a strong regional network to build a high-value pipeline of opportunities, with a focus on cross-border business and strategic accounts.
- Lead complex sales opportunities across the US and wider Americas region, from qualification through close, ensuring alignment with client needs and CSC’s service capabilities.
- Shape and deliver strategic proposals that address multinational corporate legal and governance requirements, collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Act as a trusted advisor in client engagements, presenting CSC’s Global Financial Solutions at a senior level and advising on best practices, delivery approaches, and value-added services.
- Oversee commercial structuring, including pricing strategy, negotiation support, and contractual considerations, ensuring both client value and commercial sustainability.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to drive pipeline strategy, conduct win/loss reviews, and identify opportunities to expand client and business partner relationships.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders—legal, compliance, operations, and technology—to ensure seamless implementation and delivery readiness.
- Contribute to market positioning, leveraging industry insights and competitor analysis to influence strategic business development initiatives.
- Represent CSC in regional and global client forums, industry events, webinars, and senior-level planning sessions.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in the US and/or wider Americas region, bringing regional relationships and a strong understanding of the Americas market, client base, business partners, and regulatory environment.
- 7–12 years of experience in sales, business development, and client solutions within corporate legal, funds and SPV, fiduciary, or professional services.
- Proven track record leading complex, multi-jurisdictional client engagements and securing significant commercial wins.
- Strong background in corporate governance, entity management, funds, and legal compliance services.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior client and business partner stakeholders.
- Experience developing tailored proposals, leading RFP responses, and structuring complex commercial arrangements.
- Skilled at working within global, matrixed organizations and cross-border teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance client and business partner needs and operational delivery requirements.
- Fluent in English; additional languages highly advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and commercial analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Entity Management technology and leading fund/asset management platforms (e.g., Yardi, Geneva, Investran).
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience advising multinational clients, fund/asset managers, and financial institutions on corporate legal entity management, governance frameworks, or cross-border compliance.
- Established network within the corporate legal, fund, or fiduciary services industry.
- Knowledge of Fund Admin a plus.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 to $120,000.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (Hybrid – 4 days in the office, NYC-based).
