About the role
The Boat House of Lauderdale Lakes is seeking an Experienced Marine Technician I to join their team. This position requires 2-3 years of marine rigging experience, prior experience with outboard and/or inboard motors, attention to detail, and the ability to listen and interpret various communication styles. The ideal candidate must also have experience with trolling motors, power poles, GPS installation, hanging motors, and hold a valid FL Driver's License acceptable to their insurer. Candidates are expected to consistently exhibit a positive attitude and be a genuine team player.
Responsibilities
- Install aftermarket electronics on boats.
- Repair boats as needed.
- Ensure reliability and maintain a service-oriented mindset.
- Work in the Elkhorn, WI shop primarily, with occasional travel to other locations for specialized coverage.
- Possess experience with trolleys, power poles, and GPS systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience installing aftermarket electronics on boats and repairing them.
- Valid FL Driver's License.
