About the role

This position involves providing technical service support, education, and problem resolution to marine dealers to enhance customer satisfaction. It includes visiting dealers, training personnel on Honda Marine policies and products, supporting Techline activities, and gathering marketplace data for product improvement. The role acts as the main liaison between Honda Marine and dealers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support dealers and retail customers with technical assistance
• Deliver technical training and motivate dealership personnel
• Participate in special projects and support Techline calls
• Build understanding of Honda Marine operations at new dealers
• Resolve customer relations issues promptly to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications

• College education in business, industrial, or relevant technical fields; vocational/marine training preferred
• Minimum of three years' technical experience and two years' management experience in marine or related industries
• Strong knowledge of marine engines, drive lines, diagnosis, and repair
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate and train on precision measuring and engine monitoring equipment
• Proficiency with PC, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
