Marine Technical Senior Specialist

About the role

The position involves providing technical service support, education, and problem resolution to marine dealers to enhance customer satisfaction. It includes traveling to dealers to guide service efforts, building understanding of Honda Marine operations, and educating dealership personnel on policies, procedures, and technical aspects. The role also supports Marine Techline activities and gathers marketplace feedback to improve products. Serving as the primary liaison, the individual resolves customer relations issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support dealers and retail customers with technical and service queries
• Deliver technical training and motivate dealership staff
• Assist with special projects and Techline activities
• Promote customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution

Qualifications

• College education in business or an industrial field, or equivalent technical experience
• Minimum of three years of technical experience and two years in management within the marine industry or related field

Skills

• Strong knowledge of marine products, engines, and diagnosis techniques
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with technical measuring tools, engine monitoring equipment, and Microsoft Office
