Manufacturing Trainer (Bilingual)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Trainer who is bilingual in Spanish to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control and be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. The Manufacturing Trainer will foster a positive learning environment that encourages employee engagement and continuous improvement. When training, onboarding, or translating is not needed, this employee will complete assembly-related tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (10-hour shift)
• 3 paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Off almost every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Train and onboard new employees in manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control
• Translate training materials and instructions as needed
• Complete assembly-related tasks when training is not required
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to complete production schedules on time
• Accept personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work
• Accurately and timely complete all required reporting functions
• Clean and assemble equipment while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, orderly work environment
• Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Requirements

• Bilingual (Spanish & English) – required
• Ability to effectively communicate processes in a way new hires can comprehend
• Open communication style that encourages questions
• Relevant production experience within the last 5 years
• Ability to understand and follow simple assembly instructions
• Ability to cross-train and rotate jobs as needed
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, and kneel without assistance
• Ability to independently lift up to 30 lbs. and/or team lift material over 30 lbs.
• Must be a team player
