Manufacturing Test Technician

Our client in Coventry RI is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician for a 6+ month contract role working 100% onsite. The are seeking an experienced resource to build, test, and integrate complex electrical and mechanical assemblies into robotics systems as well as execute detailed subsystem tests. Rate: $25-36/hr rate5 days a week onsite M-F REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Electronics experience in robotics, defense, aerospace, avionics, or similar hardware environments.Hands-on experience setting up and performing electrical/hardware testing.Knowledge of electrical circuits and basic electrical engineering principles.Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.Experience using DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and similar test equipment.Experience documenting test results and troubleshooting hardware issues. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with AUVs, UUVs, subsea robotics, or other underwater electrical systems.Experience working with electrical systems up to 400VDC.Cable splicing, potting, wiring, or custom harness fabrication experience.Experience with hydrostatic testing, pressure vessels, or pneumatic/hydraulic test systems.IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or experience.Experience in prototype, low-volume, or high-mix electronics manufacturing. Cable splicing, potting, wiring, or custom harness fabrication experience. Experience with hydrostatic testing, pressure vessels, or pneumatic/hydraulic test systems. IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or experience. Experience in prototype, low-volume, or high-mix electronics manufacturing.
