Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Compunetics, Inc. is a manufacturer of state-of-the-art rigid and flexible circuit boards producing products from fast turn high tech multilayer circuit board prototypes to non-traditional, high-density and high-speed interconnects which serve a wide variety of customer requirements. The company has kept manufacturing alive and well and local for over 50 years. This position performs visual & dimensional inspection of printed circuit boards.

Responsibilities

• Apply coverlay or strain relief material to flexible circuit boards
• Tack on coverlay with the use of a soldering iron
• Perform weekly housekeeping tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in technical field a plus
• Experience with measuring instruments and manufacturing tools
• Experience in the electronics industry a plus
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required
• Ability and proficiency working while viewing through a microscope
