Manufacturing/Production Supervisor - 2nd shift

Location: Goleta, California (6825 Cortona Dr, BLDG B01)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of non‑exempt operators in Focal Plane and Thin Films processing on the 2nd shift.
• Supervise day‑to‑day activities, including writing and delivering performance reviews for direct reports.
• Handle factory scheduling, workflow management, and reporting on standard factory health metrics such as throughput, cycle time, and yield.
• Interact with multiple groups within Raytheon Vision Systems.
• Ensure compliance and management of the clean‑room, including safety and audit preparedness.
• Perform statistical process control (SPC) and work with work‑in‑process (WIP) tracking systems and reports.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship (required to access program/contract information).
• No security clearance required.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Preferred supervisory experience, preferably in a semiconductor environment.
• Familiarity with semiconductor processing equipment, methods, and processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
• Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay

Salary range: $95,500 – $181,700 USD (estimate based on experience, role, location, education, and key skills).
