About the role

This role is for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor in the Sensors High Mix value stream at Raytheon's Circuit Card Manufacturing factory in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team consisting of 15-20 assembly and inspection employees.
  • Lead a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production.
  • Support deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, production capacity, quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans.
  • Achieve/exceed cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies.

Requirements

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
  • Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry is preferred.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees is preferred.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) is preferred.

Qualifications

  • You must have manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry.

  • You must have previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • You must have experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).

Benefits

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Schedule

This role is a 2nd shift position.
