Manufacturing Execution System Technician

About the role

onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing MES Technician to support CFA and Probe operations at our Nampa, Idaho site. You will provide expertise in Camstar, SPACE, APC, and RMS systems, manage MES requests for the manufacturing team, maintain operating procedures, and deploy roadmap projects to enhance functionality and efficiency. This role involves troubleshooting errors, assisting manufacturing teams, and interfacing with MOS and the Image Sensing Group (ISG) for new part type setups and engineering projects.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Model and provide high-quality solutions in MES systems: Camstar, SPACE, APC, and RMS.
• Create new part types with workflows and alternate paths.
• Perform limit updates in Camstar and SPACE.
• Manage line holds and releases.
• Contribute to deploying roadmap projects for added functionality and efficiency.
• Communicate with the Nampa manufacturing team and ISG team.
• Support the site during urgent situations affecting product and MES solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing FAB.
• Excellent computer skills (Windows OS, Excel, Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
• Understanding of MES systems: Camstar, SPACE, APC, RMS, or related applications.
• Understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
• Strong data summary and analytical skills.
• Proven troubleshooting approach.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Innovative and self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Ability to follow written or verbal work instructions.
• Ability to perform duties in a cleanroom environment.
• Capable of providing excellent customer service.
• Willingness to serve in various capacities/roles.
• Familiarity with PAC is beneficial.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
