The company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly to join their manufacturing engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Process & Workflow Optimization: Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and establish best practices across production.

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; collaborating with equipment vendors; and gathering insights from operators.

  • Machining & CAD/CAM Development: Use CAD/CAM software to create, optimize, and improve machining processes.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure product and process quality by developing testing methods, assessing finished-product and process capabilities, establishing quality standards, and validating manufacturing processes.

  • Operations Planning & Cost Analysis: Support manufacturing decision-making by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future operational requirements.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepare detailed product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing performance data and trends.

  • Equipment Reliability & Maintenance: Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer instructions and established procedures; and arranging specialty services as needed.

  • Professional Development: Maintain professional and technical expertise by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, building professional networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Vendor & Cross-functional Collaboration: Interface effectively with vendors and internal partners to ensure clear communication of technical requirements and EHS expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 1 year of manufacturing engineering experience.

  • Strong knowledge for assembly of heavy industrial equipment.

  • Proficiency in CAD software.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.

  • Understanding of GD&T tolerancing and function.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Benefits

  • 5 days onsite per week (Monday thru Friday).
