About the Role

This position involves managing or assisting with production activities such as assembly, material forming, processing, treating, or packaging. Responsibilities include planning and directing production to meet specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage targets, and quality standards. The role requires coordination with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, and Sales to develop production schedules and allocate resources. It also involves managing production line maintenance to minimize disruptions.

Responsibilities

• Direct, leverage, and guide the work of others while mobilizing resources.
• Manage two or more direct reports, including hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
• Monitor and achieve operational and financial results for the assigned area.
• Set goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational results.
• Work on issues of general scope, analyzing situations and data to evaluate various factors.
• Support team with day-to-day activities and coordinate with other areas to meet department objectives.
• Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and administer schedules and performance requirements.
• Follow Safe Quality Food (SQF) responsibilities, including plant rules, hygiene, and allergens procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions or SQF noncompliance and participate in root cause and corrective actions.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent plus 4 years of related experience.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

$96,800.00 - $129,000.00 per year.
