About the role
The Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) practice at Berkeley Research Group (BRG) provides advisory support to healthcare providers, payers, investors, and other stakeholders. Led by seasoned healthcare professionals, IHS partners with organizations to drive sustainable performance improvement and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Engage in small projects within one's specific area of expertise, serving as an engagement director.
- Assist in project workstreams under the direction of the project workstream/pillar SME, or serve as the SME if in one's core knowledge area.
- Support SMEs in non-core knowledge areas by assessing and implementing deliverables.
- Monitor and provide feedback on implemented workstreams.
- Present to clients and executives to advance project deliverables.
- Create client-facing materials like slide decks.
- Lead performance improvement work teams towards developing future-state processes.
- Manage and mentor junior staff supporting the managing consultant’s projects.
- Submit accurate and on-time expense reports and time entries.
- Participate in internal advancement activities.
- Maintain licenses and certifications relevant to the role.
- Be willing to work in other service lines as needed.
- Develop thought leadership that advances the firm’s brand.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in clinical performance improvement consulting or 10+ years of industry experience in a relevant role with relevant licensure/certification(s).
- Bachelor's degree required in health or related field from an accredited college/university, or equivalent training/experience; a Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Candidates without a Master's degree must enroll in a Master's program and earn their degree within three years of being hired into the role.
- Board certification(s) preferred in area of subject matter expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and benchmarking tools.
- Credibility as a subject matter expert in specific domain of expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
- Strong communication, analytical, and client management skills.
- Expanded operational knowledge of most procedural departments, including the ability to interface with Perioperative Services and Labor initiative leaders.
Benefits
