Position Summary

Walmart Data Ventures is seeking a quantitative and/or qualitative research professional to lead and execute market research projects, build client relationships, and deliver impactful insights.

What you'll do

  • Lead and execute all aspects of quantitative and qualitative research processes including research design, questionnaire development, programming, data collection, data analysis, and storytelling.
  • Serve as a product ambassador, demonstrating knowledge of Walmart Data Ventures products and services, and identifying and selling solutions.
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues, oversee quality control processes, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through value-add research, annual research planning workshops, and a positive, customer-centric attitude.
  • Manage time effectively to focus on essential activities, ensuring timely delivery of impactful insights, account growth, and contract renewals.
  • Support the creation of ad hoc training and marketing collateral in partnership with cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to share client requests, industry trends, and competitive intelligence.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 3+ years of market research experience (client-facing required).
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and phone communication skills.
  • Experience visualizing data with tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and others.
  • Knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with online data collection tools (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Decipher, etc.).

Additional Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $96,000.00 - $186,000.00 (Hoboken, NJ)
  • $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 (Bentonville, AR)
  • Performance-based bonuses.
  • Stock options for certain positions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area and 2 years' experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area.
  • Option 2: 4 years' experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leading cross-functional teams.
  • Master's degree in business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area.
