About the role

Giant is seeking experienced Store Managers to lead day-to-day store operations and drive sales. Prior store management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and team success, including associates and management
• Deliver exceptional customer service and develop store associates and management
• Manage labor, payroll, budget, cash, and inventory control
• Ensure compliance with Giant programs, policies, and local, state, and federal regulations
• Plan, implement, track, and report weekly sales programs
• Lead hiring, attendance, retention, and performance management
• Maintain store conditions and asset protection, including shrink management

What You Will Bring

• Experience in a nationally or regionally recognized perishable, grocery, and/or big box retail company
• Proven ability to manage people, departments, and/or whole stores
• Proficiency in scheduling, ordering, inventory, payroll, P&L analysis, project management, and personnel management
• Knowledge of employment law, interview techniques, and retail hiring practices
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a business concentration (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work required hours and travel within the regional business areas (Washington/Virginia/Maryland/Delaware)

Pay

Salary range: $68,640.00 – $85,800.00
