About the Position

The San Jose Earthquakes are seeking a Manager of Season Ticket Sales to lead and support all season ticket sales. This role oversees season ticket sales, supports strategic selling and upselling efforts, and ensures best-in-class service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Account Executives, including ongoing coaching, training, and performance management
  • Serve as an individual contributor by actively generating new business and consistently achieving personal season ticket sales revenue goals while leading by example for the sales team
  • Collaborate on the season ticket sales campaigns, including strategy, execution, and performance tracking
  • Set, monitor, and drive progress toward individual and team revenue goals including upsells, group tickets, and premium tickets
  • Implement and execute strategic selling initiatives to increase season ticket revenue
  • Work closely with the account service teams for seamless sales to service handoffs
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and client satisfaction which can include resolving escalated issues
  • Plan and execute season ticket sales events
  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and results
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and ticket operations to support organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in a sales role and at least 1 year leading a team
  • Prior experience selling season tickets in the sports and entertainment industry and managing a team
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and coaching/mentorship ability
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
