Manager, Product Management - Card Customer Resiliency: Delinquency Offers
About the Role
Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the digital revolution transforms our society and our industry.
As part of the Team Customer Resiliency, you will work at the heart of Capital One’s mission. The Card Customer Resiliency team has embarked on an unprecedented journey to modernize technology, elevate the voice of vulnerable customers, and innovate rapidly to define industry norms of customer care. Every team member is united in treating customers with dignity, clarity, and respect, building experiences that help struggling customers responsibly manage debt and understand long-term solutions.
Approximately 1 in 4 adult Americans holds a Capital One or Discover Card. Due to excellence in underwriting, we provide deeper credit access than competitors. Over 30 million Card customers typically go delinquent in a given year—the largest pool in America. Our team supports these customers during vulnerable moments, including job loss, healthcare troubles, natural disasters, and other major life events that lead to financial hardship. Managing credit risk involves understanding not just access to credit but what happens when that access doesn’t follow the intended path.
Responsibilities
Within Team Offers, your work will shape programs that empower customers to resolve outstanding balances, often by extending significant concessions to those facing acute financial pressures. Millions engage with these programs annually, and your contributions will directly impact a massive population, guiding them through instability toward sustainable credit health.
