About the role

The Deloitte Regulatory, Risk & Forensic team assists clients in navigating complex regulatory and financial landscapes, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive value.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients in U.S. government pricing programs, including calculation support and reporting controls (AMP, BP, ASP, NFAMP, 340B, URA).
  • Maintain effective and compliant processes for extending statutory and other government prices through stakeholder engagement, rebate processing, and discounted price lists.
  • Interpret evolving regulatory and sub-regulatory requirements and implement new pricing constructs such as Most Favored Nation (MFN) pricing.
  • Monitor and track regulatory changes and develop market-leading viewpoints and offerings.
  • Assess and enhance government pricing data, methodologies, processes, documentation, controls, and systems to improve accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Advisory on State Price Transparency reporting requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage government contract compliance, including risk mitigation related to pricing, discounts, rebates, chargebacks, and contracting strategies.
  • Provide expertise on government pricing system configuration and optimization, including data validation, testing, and reconciliation.
  • Lead one or more workstreams end-to-end, manage project governance, and coach junior practitioners.
  • Develop executive-ready outputs and present clear, actionable recommendations to client leaders.
  • Contribute to proposals and business development by shaping workplans, developing effort estimates, and leading client presentations.
  • Build reusable assets and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing and/or contracting within life sciences, consulting, payers, providers, or related healthcare domains
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team and influencing others, including coaching and mentoring
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate analysis into clear executive recommendations
  • Experience with contracting processes and risk/controls thinking
  • Knowledge of or experience with revenue management software (e.g., Model N)
  • Prior consulting or advisory experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotech clients
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, MS, JD)

Qualifications

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in U.S. government pricing and compliance operations
  • Experience with value-based contracting concepts and operational enablement
  • Experience improving processes and controls (documentation, governance, compliance testing, operating model)
  • Knowledge of revenue management software (e.g., Model N)
  • Prior consulting or advisory experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotech clients
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, MS, JD)

Pay

$135,400 - $265,100

Schedule

Full-time, with occasional travel up to 50%
