About the role
The Deloitte Regulatory, Risk & Forensic team assists clients in navigating complex regulatory and financial landscapes. As a Manager in Pricing & Contracting, you will work on engagements that enhance pricing strategy, operations, and U.S. government pricing compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in U.S. government programs by improving government pricing capabilities and processes.
- Maintain effective and compliant processes for extending statutory and other government prices.
- Adapt to and interpret evolving regulatory requirements, including implementing new pricing constructs like MFN-based pricing.
- Assess and strengthen government pricing data, methodologies, and systems to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
- Advise clients on State Price Transparency reporting requirements and develop strategies for compliance.
- Manage risk related to pricing, discounts, rebates, chargebacks, and contracting strategies.
- Provide expertise on government pricing system configuration and optimization.
- Lead one or more workstreams, manage project governance, and coach junior practitioners.
- Develop executive-ready outputs and present clear, actionable recommendations to client leaders.
- Contribute to proposals and business development by shaping workplans, developing effort estimates, and leading client presentations.
- Build reusable assets and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in pricing and/or contracting within life sciences, consulting, payers, providers, or related healthcare domains.
- Experience leading teams and influencing others, including coaching and mentoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear executive recommendations.
- Experience with contracting processes, risk/controls thinking, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of revenue management software and prior consulting/advisory experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotech clients.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, MS, JD) preferred.

The disclosed range estimate for this role is $135,400 - $265,100.
