Clive Behavioral Health Hospital opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services.
- Manage all activities involving outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans.
- Coordinate caseloads and develop/manage the outpatient staff.
- Market the outpatient program.
- Maximize referral potentials from assigned accounts and develop new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business developmental systems.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies’ regulations, patient rights standards, and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or another mental health related field.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
- Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or RN Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric Mental Health (license issued by the State of Iowa).
