Outpatient Manager

Responsibilities

• Makes necessary audits for patient care tracking.
• Handles all aspects of the admission process.
• Maintains staff schedule and ensures staffing for the program.
• Maintains and records attendance including tardiness and absences.
• Works with the business office and the utilization review department to ensure payment for services.
• Performs pre-certifications and concurrent reviews.
• Develops relationships with Payer sources.
• Interfaces with UR department to ensure service coverage for patients.
• Schedules CPEs, nursing assessments, H&P, AT assessments, and psychosocial assessments with appropriate clinicians.
• Schedules or completes UDS collections, including random screenings.
• Actively participates in therapy discharge planning needs.
• Creates appointments, starts follow-up care process, and completes organizational interfacing as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Previous experience on an inpatient unit is preferred.
• Must have previous clerical experience.
• CPR and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) required within 30 days.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Hourly Range: $21.19-$34.95
