RN Manager, Outpatient

Essential Functions

• Manage, promote, evaluate, and direct the day-to-day operations of the clinic assigned.
• Provide direction for total patient care in collaboration with the physicians, sub-specialists, nursing, and ancillary services.
• Develop and implement protocols in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Operations.
• Maintain the effectiveness of these protocols through interactions with all departments system-wide and through problem identification in the quality improvement program.
• Function as a resource and liaison to all departments within the LCMC system, including nursing, Social Services, Emergency Services, Admissions, Radiology, Labor and Delivery, and all other services provided to the patient.

Experience Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in professional nursing - Supervisory.
• Registered Nursing License from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support HeartSaver & First Aid certification from the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of fax machines, calculators, copiers, and basic computer programs (Word, email, Excel, Microsoft-XP & PowerPoint).
• Ability to document in Centricity and work with GE Viewpoint.

Skills And Abilities

• Organization and prioritization skills.
• Adherence to RN role as outlined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and specific to the department and facility.
• Ability to enter and analyze data.
