Responsibilities
- Lead the team with operational excellence by supervising exempt and non-exempt staff within an assigned shift or department, including oversight of safety, housekeeping, and sanitation activities.
- Demonstrate business leadership by creating and achieving short- and long-term strategic and tactical plans for the Distribution Center (DC).
- Drive results by promoting team collaboration and accountability for meeting performance objectives, building and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Ensure direct reports receive proper coaching and development to effectively manage their departments.
- Manage the efficient allocation of equipment and labor resources to meet service levels and budgets consistently.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Asset Protection, Human Resources, Finance, and other key support groups to align efforts across DCs and functions in retail and e-commerce environments.
- Develop preventative measures by analyzing quantitative, qualitative, and trend data to positively impact productivity.
- Contribute to policy and program development through consistent administration and execution of policies affecting daily work activities.
- Engage and inspire by administering policies fairly, counseling associates on performance and behavioral concerns, and role-modeling teamwork.
- Lead others in adhering to company safety, performance, state, and OSHA rules, policies, and regulations to ensure safe working practices.

Requirements
- Five to ten years of relevant work experience in a distribution center environment.
- Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or ability to quickly develop proficiency in systems such as Blue Yonder, Autostore, or Pouch Packing.
- Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the production floor, including Inbound, Outbound/Shipping, Dotcom, and Inventory Control.
- Ability to delegate and develop exempt leaders and lead large teams of up to 300 associates.
- Knowledge of distribution operating systems and all aspects of warehouse, production, logistics, and transportation-related activities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple tasks against competing priorities.
- Proven analytical abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $99,025.00 - $110,675.00. The actual base salary offered depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Individuals in this position may also be eligible for bonuses.
